AN EXPERIENCE TO REMEMBER

Start the day with a dynamic Vinyasa flow class with Pilates and breathwork to relax, improve your flexibility and strengthen the core.  

 

We will practice in a beautiful hall immersed in nature. After the class you will feel revitalized, refreshed and motivated.


Enjoy our delicious healthy food options for your breakfast while watching the ocean lap at your feet.


In the midday session, we will take time to reflect and explore different aspects of the self and personal life, in a fun and creative way that will inspire you in all aspects of your life.  Learn about chakras and healing methods that you can practice anywhere at any stage of your life.


You will have a long break during the day for free time; lay on the beach, walk through stunning nature, laze in a hammock or treat yourself with a massage or healing session with one of our world-class healers.


In the afternoon, we will come back to learn and cultivate our joyful meditation practice. The perfect way to finish your day.

RETREAT LOCATION

 Koh Phangan, Thailand

The Sanctuary Thailand is a famously unique beachfront resort that sits on the sandy shores of Haad Tien Beach, Koh Phangan, Thailand.  

 

Surrounded by a magical coconut grove, and backed onto hillside jungle; no roads, traffic or chaotic streets.  Just nature, tranquility and good vibes. Easily accessible by a 5 minute long-tail boat ride from Haad Rin Beach; The Sanctuary sits on its own secluded oasis of paradise. 

Named after the local Tien trees that grow along the beach line.  These trees  are hundreds of years old and very similar to the ‘Tree of Life’. They are said to offer healing properties, renewal, protection, growth and luck, as they connect the land and the sea.

I had no idea what to expect going into Ushma's retreat, but the second I met her I knew that I was in for an adventure of a lifetime. Ushma brought a whole world of spiritual wisdom, acumen and knowledge to our retreat and created a safe, sacred space for me and my group to explore our inner journey. I thought that I knew a lot about yoga and meditation but she kept on surprising me with more and more teachings and insights around my spiritual practice - so much more than I could have learned in one week at home. My favorite part was the varying exercises and practices she taught us. Each day was a unique mix of yoga, meditation, dancing, art, inner self exploration... the list goes on and on! And the calmness and peace of Ushma's voice continues to stay with me until this day. I cannot recommend Ushma's retreat more... it was an experience of a lifetime and I can't wait to go back!
